The graphic by itself is not affected by the computer properties. What is affected is the rendering speed at runtime. In other words, the display, in slower machines, can be slower and not as smooth.
We recommend a machine with Microdoft XP and at least 1.7ghz CPU and 256MB (512 or more recommended) of RAM with a dedicated video card (Nvidia or ATI) with at least 64MB (128MB recommended) of dedicated RAM.
Microsoft VISTA is supported. See Installation Instructions

The software automatically creates backup copies in the old file
format. It is also possible to script in 5.2 and export to 5.0 for firing operations

Of course. The software main interface has not been changed exactly for this reason. To minimize the learning curve, all the commands you are used to are in their usual place.
